We are excited to have Deshelle Burrowes share information on body image during out next free community workshop.
DeShelle Burrowes, LPC, NCC, CLC, CMIP is a Sex Therapy Trauma Trained Psychotherapist who specializes in curating safe spaces for Women of Color to process, be heard and heal through life’s challenges. She is the owner of The Pathway to Wellness, LLC Counseling and Coaching practice in McDonough, GA. DeShelle believes that all women should be living their best lives and she is grateful to have helped women through various issues including but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, Postpartum issues, Sexual issues and Trauma.
DeShelle is also the South Atlanta Coordinator for Postpartum Support International, LLC and continues to run an AMAZING support group for expecting and new Moms of Color called The Mommy Tribe. She started this group in 2019 and is proud to say she’s never missed a month supporting moms, even at the height of the pandemic.
When DeShelle is not supporting her clients, she spends her time working on her own wellness which includes meditation, prayer, spending time with her husband and 2 boys, as well as her friends. She believes that self care is of the utmost importance and she strives to enrich her life daily by creating space for her own wellness and wellbeing. This allows her to be the best version that she can be for herself first and then everyone else.
