No, in the state of Georgia you are not required to have a referral to begin therapy. However, it is required that you have a referral to continue skilled physical therapy services after 8 visits and/or 21 days (which ever may come first). If appropriate your, therapist may recommend that you can change to wellness based services after this period of direct access. Most patients do require treatment after this time period and because of this your therapist may encourage you to obtain a referral after meeting with you.

Group and individual rates are available for the following:

  • general fitness
  • speed and agility
  • strength and conditioning
  • general athletic performance

Many diagnoses can be effectively treated with telehealth services. However, based upon your individual needs your therapist may indicate that in-person treatment is the best option.

Payment is due at the time of service. HSA/FSA cards, credit/debit cards, and cash are all acceptable payment forms. All sales on services provided are final and refunds are not issued.

A mobile physical therapist is a licensed practitioner who travels directly to the client and provides physical therapy services at their home, office, gym or previously agreed upon location.

A trained individual who supports the family through the process of preparing for delivery and during the delivery of a baby.
